Wish list for LO?

H has a lot of older siblings and are not married. Which means they spoil the nephews and nieces. DS is the youngest and cannot make his own wish list like the others cousins can. And they've been sort of asking about what to get him for Christmas. Is it wrong to make a wishlist for all the aunts and uncles? I mean I wouldn't want to end up with a bunch of clothes he doesn't need or duplicate toys he may already have. What are your thoughts about making a wishlist for your LO?

    I been telling my family to get toys and clothes for an older age that I don't have. Just tell them to make sure they include receipts because its easy for people to get things that are same or similar.  Good luck

    When IL's have asked me what to get DS, I have suggested board books and wooden puzzles. I figure he can grow into the puzzles, and if we get duplicate books I can save them for my classroom or donate them to a school in need. Before I had kids, I always asked for ideas of my IL's kids could use. Usually I bought one outfit and one toy each from a store like Kohl's (b/c it is easy to do returns there, but I know they rarely shop there so the outfits wouldn't likely be duplicates). FWIW this year my budget is a lot smaller, so I am making wall art to go with each kid's bedroom colors.

    I plan on making a wish list for LO because we are going out of town to visit far away family who have never met LO yet so they don't really know what he needs.

    I don't see anything wrong with making a wish list imo

    All four of us have our Amazon wish lists. Our parents love knowing what we need/want without having to ask.
