So I've told the girl I can't do it. We did a trial run for the past 2 weeks, on week 3 today.
Problem #1 - always late dropping off baby.. wouldn't be so much of a problem if I weren't trying to get the babies on the same schedule. So when one was up the other was down and vise versa. Not fun!
Problem #2 - always late picking up baby.. she said she pick her up at 5:30 pm Doesn't show up till 6:30ish. BIG problem being that my baby goes to bed around 6 which gives me no time to do bedtime routine and my son would never get a bath ever again lol
Problem #3 - She didn't bring baby food today.. she brought formula but no baby food. Which I will share my LO's but this girl eats ALOT lol
So all in all. Good baby but unreliable parent = no good for me!!! Not gonna have it. Oh well.. I tried!!
Already told her I will finish out the week but not a fit for me and sorry!
Re: *Update* on if you in-home daycare
Good for you for trying but I can not imagine taking care of two babies and not getting any breaks if on different schedules. My daycare makes us pick our son up like most places by 6 the lastest or your charges extra. Two you need your time with your baby if yours goes to bed at 6. That's tough
