So i'm for sure going through this right now. I'm walking around work like a zombie! I Put my coffee cup in the refrigerator and took the bottle or creamer to my desk (its that bad) DS is up every hour or less between 1 and 6 when we finally get up for the day. DH is no help at all, I've been nice and let him sleep at night since i'm nursing anyways he can't do much for LO if he's hungry but now he sleeps through all his crying, i practically have to kick him to wake him up. I can't be to mad at him just because he's a sound sleeper though. He helps out when he finally wakes up lol.
How is everyone else coping with this? have you found any solutions? How long will it last?
Re: experiencing the dreaded 4 month wakeful? come on in!
The past 2 nights he slept through the night and was awesome. First time. Ever. Then last night he woke every 20 minutes from 7 to 11, then every hour until 2, then he finally slept solidly until 7 am.
H was over there snoring away the entire time. I actually said out loud "you lucky bastard, I want to punch you right square in the face." He didn't hear me, of course.
I wanted to nap this morning, but ds decided to cat nap instead. Which is really unlike him.
I offer the boob every time and he usually takes it for about 10 min if that, so I don't think hes that hungry. I tried a paci last night and he got pissed big time as soon as it touched his lips he started screaming (he doesn't normally use a paci if he does its only for 5 min and he spits it out.) If this keeps up for much longer I'm going to try rocking him but we are currently unpacking boxes and getting moved in to our new house and so genius person (H) crammed the rocker behind and under all of our boxes. So for now we just walk/bounce through the house until he calms down. I also tried putting him in his swing he wasn't having that either.

I have decided that men just have a special talent to sleep through babies crying. DD can make one little noise and I'm up....yet she can be full on screaming and 50% of the time, DH doesn't even hear it.
I'm going on day 8 of this baloney. She only sleeps for one hour at a time. I'm working full time and I haven't gotten more than 90 minutes of consecutive sleep in a week. WEEEEEE!!!
haha I play word with friends too! I'm pretty sure some of my friends think i'm crazy when their phone buzzes at like 2 in the morning
