Need Ideas for Christmas Card

So, since it's so close to Christmas my DH and I have decided to go ahead and announce our pregnancy via a Christmas card.

I wanted to do just a simple picture with me and him holding a Merry Christmas garland sign, then on the side say "Merry Christmas! Love X, Y and baby". But my DH's response was "That'd be cool to send a card if we can think of something clever!"....apparently my idea isn't clever enough haha

I've searched high and low on the web and I just can't find any good ideas. What do you guys think? I'm trying to stay away from the things that are done all the time (like the little chalkboard with an arrow or +1 to my tummy) but of course....I'll do anything my DH loves, so all ideas are welcome!

 TIA - i've never been too good at the creative side of things.

    Do you have a pic of the u/s that you can add to the card? Or maybe a pic of a bun in the oven? I'm not good at the creative stuff either!

    We thought about doing the pic of the u/s....but it's not that great and the lady put "Hi Mom and Dad" on it....so....it'd just be weird! lol

    Have you looked at the website Pinterest?  They have many cute ideas.  My husband and I did an idea off of there.  We are each holding a baby shoe in out hands infront of the Christmas Tree.  It turned out very cute.  I will upload the card once I get them from the printer today.

    My cousin did maternity pictures for a friend of hers that were super cute.  It was of the couple kissing and holding the ultra sound out towards the camera.  They each held on to one side of the picture.  You might get close enough to see that it's an us but not read HI Mom and Dad.

    If you want to use the ultrasound pic... you could scan it into your computer or take a quality photo of it and do some photoshopping to cover up the text. :)

(at least for one of us). Happy Holiday Love, X,Y and Baby.

    Yeah I am not showing that much more just completely arching my back to stick out the little bump I have... lol
