I love soccer, but I was too chicken in high school to try out until my senior year. I barely made it onto the jv team, but I didn't care because it was so fun! About halfway through the season, I had improved enough that I got to start in most games, and I was so proud. I'm so glad that I finally got over my nerves enough to do it, even if it was just one year.
How long did you do it? Tennis I started in 9th, played volleyball with the family growing up
Any fun accomplishments? I don't know if you consider it an accomplishment but I got "All Conference" in high school tennis. Which is strange because volleyball is my passion and I would've much preferred getting it there.
Which one(s)? I played basketball, volleyball, softball, and ran track.
How long did you do it? I only did track in jr high. I played volleyball and softball until I graduated high school and I played basketball until I graduated college. I started basketball and softball when I was 5 or 6.
Any fun accomplishments? I was on several tournament teams and made all conference a few times. Oh, and the free ride to college was pretty nice.
No. I was a dancer for 18 years. While I loved dance, I do feel I missed out. I am good at sports but never got the chance to play.

Which one(s)? Competitive power tumbling (and dance and recreational tumbling, as well as cheerleading)
How long did you do it? I started tumbling in elementary school and stuck with it through college, but didn't start competing until high school.
Any fun accomplishments? Some don't consider it a sport, but I got a dance/cheerleading scholarship which paid for a good chunk of my college degree and was invited to participate in the halftime show at a big bowl game my freshman year of college.
I wish I would have found the love of running at a younger age because I think I really could have done well at cross country.

Which one(s)? Soccer in 4th & 5th grade. Track in 7th & 8th grade. Went to volleyball training for 9th grade but chickened out and didn't tryout. The coach said I would've made the team (it's one of my biggest regrets). Did martial arts (Tae Kwon Do) from 10th-12th grade.
Any fun accomplishments? My soccer teams were undefeated. I got Student of the Year my first year in Tae Kwon Do. I also went to Nationals Competition and got 5th place in the nation for sparring (fighting). I got my Black Belt senior year, but haven't practiced since.
