Good Evening Ladies, I hope everyone had a wonderful and stress free Thanksgiving!

Please forgive me if I missed anyone's update. We welcome every member (graduates, current, lurkers, newbies etc.) to post an update each week. This gives us all an idea of where you are in your cycle or how you're doing. This is such a great place to meet other women in similar circumstances to share experiences, cheer each other on, get info and offer support.

UPDATE: Today was day 10 of microdose lupron and day 8 of stims. My follies are plugging right along, but I won't trigger until sometime next week, probably Wednesday.

QOTW: Not quite ready to tackle Christmas decorations, but have been doing some online shopping for DD and DH and even wrapped a few presents.

IVF: Day 8 of stims, next follie check is Tuesday (seems so far away).

I only asked the question b/c last year I didn't put up a big tree and barely got my mini tree out. This year I am already set up, most of the xmas cards are addressed and more than half of the presents have been bought/wrapped! I think I am doing everything possible to keep my mind off of IVF and keep myself stress free! I have a feeling that the 2ww is going to be long with all my big items done on my checklist!

I received my calendar for m next donor ivf. I will transfer hopefully mid Jan and start meds in Dec.

I put up most of the decorations but we are getting a real tree so that will have to wait.

Hi Ladies. Hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!

Update: We had our transfer yesterday morning. We transferred two and as of yesterday only one freeze. I'm just taking it easy today. Believe it or not I'm still sore from my retrieval Monday and a little crampy from yesterday's procedure.

Normally we do all our Christmas decorating on Black Friday but opted to wait a few more days this year.

Update: Temps started their plummet this morning, so looks like I will need to keep my RE appointment on Wednesday (I was holding out hope that I would get KU'd on my own after 14 months and not need to go to the RE)

QOTW: Our tree has been up for over a week now. I never used to put it up this early, but DD just couldn't wait Smile

Update: I had my first follie check this morning of my first (an hopefully only) IVF cycle. Today will be day 5 of meds. I only had 2 follicles on one side and 1 on the other. Measuring 15, 12 and 11. My RE wasn't in the office this morning, but his partner was and she said it is perfectly normal and I had about 7-10 other follicles waiting to grow and that I shouldn't be worried about not having many yet. Is this normal?!?! I have to go back tomorrow because I tend to ovulate super early and react to meds pretty well, so they are watching that big follie and may have to start ganirelix tomorrow. She said that one could over mature while we try to get the others to grow, but it wouldn't be a big deal. I really hope she is right. I almost starting bawling in the office while she told me to quit worrying so much. I think these hormones are making me a basketcase. Anyway, for now they are keeping me on my current dosage (which is very low) 100 of follistim and 1 vial of menopur.

QOTW: I decorated last weekend. My inlaws were in town for Thanksgiving and I wanted to have everything done because I knew I wouldn't have time the day after Thanksgiving like I usually do it. As for the turkey, this is the first year that I actually wish I had some leftovers to eat. I didn't have much that day because I wasn't feeling that great.

Update: I am 3dpo and feel nothing. Not feeling hopeful this cycle as we were only able to squeeze in one IUI and 1 time for TI. Guess it's better than nothing. I also feel like my trigger is testing out way faster than it has before. Not sure why?

QOTW: Although we are done with turkey, we definitely haven't begun decorating for Christmas yet. We celebrate both Chanukah and Christmas and I feel like I scrambling to get my DS's Chanukah presents at the moment. Have to get a move on with everything as I just realized we start his advent calendar on Saturday! YIKES!

Starting another cycle here. Still planning on returning to RE in January. Looking forward to enjoying the holidays for now.

We are eating turkey still starting to decorate. I am wife of the year for allowing DH to completely rearrange our living room to accommodate his dream of a running train around the tree. I really hate how he arranges our furniture, but I am sucking it up for his dream.

Update: I'm 11dpo and got a BFN this morning. All of my BFP's have showed by 11dpo, so I don't think there's much hope let this cycle.

QOTW: I've put up most of our decorations and am just waiting for DH to drag the tree up from the basement. DH and DD are both currently sleeping, so I'm hoping we can put it up after nap.

Thanks for the kind thoughts, they are much appreciated. As you saw above nothing to transfer I got the devastating call when I was getting ready to leave for transfer. DH says he does not want to cycle ever again after spending $50,000 + we did not have OOP on IVF's and FET, and PESA surgeries. He is willing to listen to what the RE says on my follow up appointment on Tuesday, the RE is insisting we come in to talk, but is not keen on ever doing this ever again. So there is a window still open but a very small one. The RE mentioned microdose lupron this time either with or without bcp if we try again in an e-mail, anyone have success with this? I always thought our twins would have a younger sibling or siblings. I have reached despair over all of this, it is just too much. QOTW: We celebrate Chrissmanukah in our house. So we will have a white tree and blue bulbs and lights. We also have both a menorah and a wooden advent calendar on our mantel.

Update: Finished my last dose of Clomid on Saturday and DH goes in for an SA tomorrow morning. I'll start OPKs this week. Depending on how the SA goes, we may convert to IUI or go that route next cycle.

QOTW: We have all of our outdoor decorations up and will start with the inside stuff this week. It takes longer to decorate with DS. :-)

I'm doing this right now, and used BCPs for 13 days prior. I seem to be progressing better this time so far (more follies than last time, and close in size). You can check out my follie check posts for specifics, and I'll be having ER next week, so I can let you know how the embryos compare to my non-MDL cycle last year when I pretty much only ended up with one good embryo out of 10.

Update: Beta is on Friday and I'm not feeling any symptoms. Trying not to think about it too much ... which of course always backfires.

QOTW: I'm still eating turkey but we did decorate for the holidays too .. kinda. We put up everything that we could that we already owned but we need to buy some new, nonglass ornaments.

Update on me-

Just started stims on Saturday night for IUI #1. I'm currently on 200IU of Follistim and go back tomorrow morning for u/s and blood.

QOTW-Thanksgiving has always been a busy week for us so I actually put our tree up and deocrated last Monday.

We are mid-cycle doing monitoring and TI. My new RE (who I just love!) wants to see how my natural cycle progresses to better manage IVF. Just finished some missing recurrent loss labs, and so far, so good.

I am thinking we will have one more cycle where I will be ovulating around the Christmas / New Year Holidays, so probably no IVF until early January.

QOTW: No, I have not yet decorated. Still have my autumn wreath on the door. I did, however, already have the Christmas cards printed, address labels are done. That's a good feeling. I am slowly getting some shopping done. That's it so far. Will probably do the tree within the next week or so.

I'm super late! I had a crazy busy weekend with DH's 40th!

Update: We had a great u/s. There is just one baby and we got to see and hear the hb, 124bpm. My EDD is 7/12/13.

QOTW: I'll start decorating for Advent soon, but I don't decorate for Christmas or get our tree until the week before hand, and then I keep the tree up through Jan 6. Since DS2's b-day is 7 days before Christmas I'm even more motivated to hold off on decorations so his party is not caught up with Christmasness.
