Imaginarium Train Table/Track?

I just purchased the Imaginarium plus 55 piece train table and set on Toys r Us. It a smaller train table.  I am not sure how many tracks it comes with, but do I need to get Imaginarium tracks to make it bigger or do Thomas wooden tracks work too with their tracks? I know that Thomas wooden trains go onto the track I believe? But not sure what it really comes with... I have a child under 2, so he will like it and doesnt need a ton right now, but still want some tracks to move around or even lay out on floor...

    I think most of the wooden tracks are interchangeable.  The Imaginarium are cheaper than Thomas, and go on sale often at TRU.  I got a few used sets and 2 or 3 new sets, and we have a crapload of track!

    We got the larger Imaginarium train table from TRU last year and we have some extra track that is Circo brand from Target. It all interchanges with no problem.

    Yep, what the PP's have said.  Any of the wooden tracks are pretty interchangeable.  My son isn't quite 2 and he loves his train table!  It will keep your LO busy for awhile trust me LOL
