For the longest time we have been saying that we need to watch our language around A. She has been repeating things she hears but usually only when we are working on her words. Well today i was on the phone and called someone a huge d!ck and what does she start saying...d!ck, d!ck, as clear as day. I didn't mention it to MH, just planned on sweeping it under the rug.
Flash forward to this evening; I get a text from MH saying that he was yelling at the cat calling him a sonofabitch and now A was running around saying B!tch, B!tch.
Awesome my sweet baby learned d!ck and b!tch in the same day..whoohoo we are awesome.
Re: We are great parents...
Ha! So sweet
Funny! I know everyone tells you not to curse around your kids, but damnit if it's not tough to stop. A couple of months ago, I stubbed my toe, threw down what was in my hand, and said sh!t really loud. Not long after, Nora fell down trying to walk, grabbed a package of wipes, and said loudly "sssit!" Oops...
This made me lol!

DD growls at all dogs.
I curse like a sailor, I'm ashamed to admit. It's just a matter of time before I get THE call from daycare telling me that K's said something awful.
DD screams at our dog, "Doggie! Olllillia!!" ... which is mocking me when I call her in from outside or yell at her for doing something bad, so I know she's listening to everything that comes out of my mouth. *big, fat sigh* It's not easy to change my bad habits
The only consolation I have in this is that my language drives my in-laws crazy and embarrasses them to no end. I do like that, I'll admit.
