EBF'ers, can we talk about our periods?

Because mine is wonky to the degree that I actually took a pregnancy test yesterday (it was negative.)

Despite constant feedings and several MOTN feedings, my period started back up 6 weeks pp. The next month I had a slightly earlier than expected lighter period, but I chalked it up to just starting bc again. Then two weeks past that, I had a beast of a period.

Now I'm three days late. Minor spotting (VERY minor,) and that's about it.

What is the deal, mother nature? You used to be so predictable

I have no advice AF still hasn't shown her ugly head, and I am not complaining. There is no way that I am KU so I am not worried.

I still have no sign of it, which I'm starting to think is weird, especially since my milk almost completely disappeared around 2 weeks. Since moms who have never had supply issues are seeing AF, I have been expecting it any time now.

I EBF and was shocked to see AF two weeks ago. It was pretty short and light, so I'm still not really sure what to make of it. I think it was because DS started sleeping for 6 hours at night, and so did I. I'm curious to see if I will get another in two weeks or if it was just random and will be irregular.

This. I'm sorry that your body isn't cooperating. AF might end up being irregular until your done EBF. It doesn't seem fair though that she showed up right away and is making your life more complicated.

I've only had one AF, so I don't know what the rest will be like, but my first one started with 2 days of spotting. Then I had 5 days of it being really heavy, sorry if TMI. I figure because I EBF AF will be weird and unpredictable for awhile.

ETA jealous of all pp's that haven't gotten AF!

Haven't seen mine yet, and I've switched to formula during the day (I am not pumping while at work) a couple of weeks ago. Still nursing him four times a day/night though.

I had one fake period after starting the minipill at 6 weeks post partum, and haven't had one since.

Sorry, can't help either. I still don't have mine. My body has always been irregular so I know when I do get it it will be wonky.

I had one at 6 weeks pp, I think. But nothing since. My OB said it could take 9 months to return. I am also on the mini pill.

This. My cycles were 70 to 110 days long before so who knows what they will be once they return. And Avery is sttn 12 to 13 hours and still no signs

I had one the beginning of October. Have not had one since, now on day 58 of cycle. She was STTN before and then stopped when her teeth started bugging her, so I wonder if that has something to do with it.

I had nothing until last week. I was afraid a few times in that stretch that I was pregnant again. But now, I'm bleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeding. It's been about 10 days. No end in sight. I'm not in pain or anything like I was before with periods, but I'm starting to wonder if it will ever end. I'm also on depo and wonder if that has anything to do with it?
