Thanks! It's kind of a "last hurrah" because of the green card situation. I'm very apprehensive and worried that if it doesn't happen now, it just won't. Too many complications: K's age; the issues that would come with having a child who's not born in the U.S. (and in MA, particularly - would K be able to adopt him/her wherever we end up? would she be able to sponsor a child who's not hers legally should DOMA burn in hell at some point so we could come back, etc.); and, and, and, and... Anyway. Boy, aren't I chipper! lol
