I have a question that I think is up your alley...  (God knows I'm not allowed to talk to my doctor without an appointment!)

As of this time last week my betas were still at 24, but yesterday I got AF.  Does that seem odd to you?  It seems like either I'm some kind of freak or I had the shortest luteal phase ever.

    when did you think you O'de? It's possible... I also wouldn't be too concerned about a short LP in your first cycle after a m/c.

    This may be a shocker, but the one thing I'm not highly versed in is beta tracking after a m/c. With the exception of my first (which was a D&E and no betas tracked and I didn't chart) Mine have always dropped so quickly I haven't really  delved into this question much. From what I gathered (aka hearsay)  I've definitely seen women say they can O with hcg still in their system, but I think the consensus is that you don't get AF until your hcg is back to zero

    Well you didn't respond with 'Omg, your ute is going to fall out!' so I already feel a little better.  I will chalk it up to wonky post m/c cycle crap and call it a day.

    Otter, totally jumping in, FWIW my friend just had this happen to her not long ago. She was charting and she had a confirmed O when her HCG level was still 15 and the doctor told her it wasn't possible, but she def. did.

    Hey gals! Just coming out of lurkdom for a sec. You can O with HCG levels below 25 and Katharine is right, you won't get AF until your level is at zero! I've read so many things that I don't remember where this information comes from, but I'm pretty sure I'm at least close to being right! Or it could be BS from the way dark recesses if me mind!
    BFP #1: 12/26/11, EDD 09/05/12; m/c discovered: 02/22/12 @ 12w u/s,
    D&C: 03/08/12 Waited for AF for 146 long days!
    Hysteroscopy/D&C on July 10th to fix blocked cervix (DX: Cervical Stenosis)
    BFP #2 12/8/12, EDD 08/21/13 Our rainbow arrived 08/24/13!

    Yes, I had a similar situation. I O'd and then had a beta of 18 drawn the very next day. 12 days later I got AF and then my beta was 1 the very next day. I was temping that cycle and am very confident of the O date.

    If it helps give perspective, 6 days before I O'd, my beta was 25.
    TTC #1 since January 2011
    BFP#1 April 12, 2011, EDD December 24, 2011, strong heart beat at 7w3d, d&c at 10w6d
    BFP#2 Oct 24, 2011, natural miscarriage, EDD unknown
    After RPL testing my losses and subsequent infertility are considered unexplained.
    Cycle #22: Femara, TI, and progesterone = BFP!! 
    BFP#3 Dec 21, 2012. Beta #1 @14dpo = 134, progesterone 67.8. Beta #2 @ 17dpo = 664! Team green, EDD 9/1/13, healthy baby boy born 9/12/13!
