  Push toys are always a hit with 1 year olds. My daughter has a shopping cart that she pushes everywhere. We also have a toy that you can push around or ride on I think it's called Playskool Walk n Ride.

  We wanted to do something special for our best friend's daughter as well. We decided to get a Y Bike Pewi, and it was a big hit. It was a little big for her at one, but she grew into it and she's two now and still uses it.

  DD's favorite toy is her pull along dog. Now that my friends Los are all turning 1 now I've found a line of pull along toys which are within the budget for birthdays and is made of wood. So for each birthday I'll be getting one of those.
