I'm a total procrastinator when it comes to Christmas presents, so I'm trying to at least come up with ideas now, because personalized gifts will obviously take a litte longer.
So what, if anything, are your LOs getting for grandma and grandpa?
I did their shopping on Etsy. Each grandparent is getting a special gift from LO. For my mother, she is getting an ornament that mentions something about experiencing perfect love with the first grandchild. My stepfather is getting a wooden sign that reads "Grandpa's Workshop - Broken toys fixed here," and for MIL she is getting a hoodie (meh, DH picked it out so it isn't anything "special").
I'm doing a framed picture for all the grandparents... For the grandmas I got something that said grandma/nana on it. My favorite thing I found was on Amazon, it's called a memory book... I got one for each grandparent and even my husband and I. It's a book with questions for you to answer about yourself. It's a way to pass down childhood memories... We will give it as presents, then when the grandparent has finished answering all the questions, they will give it back. I can't wait for the finished products!

I suggest hopping over to Etsy!
I'm a huge Etsy fan. The sign for your stepdad sounds perfect for my dad. He would LOVE it. Do you mind sharing which seller you used?
If you have a Mac with iPhoto it is super easy to make a scrap book style album of the first few months of pictures. It just uploads the pictures and designs the book automatically, then you add the text. I'm thinking about doing this for both sets of grandparents.

Could you post a link if you have time? I think my parents would love that. I would loved to have had that from my grandparents before they passed.

We Got my mom one for Mother's Day. She worked on it when her mother came to visit; they had a great time reminiscing. I can't wait until she finishes it.
I read tons of reviews and chose it because they said it was good for grandparents who aren't married anymore. I didn't want her to have to fill out all the stuff about my dad or leave half blank.
Last year I took DS1 to a pottery place and he did reindeer and Christmas tree handprints and footprints on plates for both sets of grandparents. This year I made custom calendars with pictures of the boys for each month and all the family birthdays on it.
For DD's first Christmas she was really too little to do anything so there was nothing specifically from her. I did make a calendar of her for the grandparents but I wrote all our names on the tag. I do a calendar every year.
For her second Christmas and from there on out, I always have DD do a craft so that the gift is actually from her [I'm not a fan of picking something out and writing her name on the tag]. One year I bought small wooden shapes from Michael's and she painted them, then I glued a string and made them into ornaments. Last year I bought wooden frames [Michael's again], she painted them and I put a pic of her in them. This year she made some artwork at school that the school made into magnets as a fundraiser so I bought those for the grandparents.
So this year there won't specifically be anything from DS, but there will be a calendar from the family as usual.
LO is giving her grandparents Shutterfly books filled with pictures of her. I submitted the order at midnight last night and according to FedEx tracking, they will be here Thursday. I am astounded by the fast turn around time.
We are also giving them some framed prints of our recent family photos.

My moms birthday was last week and we got her a necklace from etsy... shop was Gracie jewelry I think. It says mormor, which is Danish for grandmother and has lo's birthstone. She loved it.
For Christmas we are making ornaments with lo's hand and foot prints for grandparents, aunties and uncles.
Ethan and his cousins are giving Grampy a train for his train set. He's got a serious train hobby going and we thought this would be good for him, since he brings all the cousins to the train room to run the trains every time we are there. For Nana, no clue yet what we'll be buying. Then there are my parents... hmm.

I'm pretty much technologically illiterate.
