Job saga ended - taking new position!

It's over finally. After getting screwed out of a job in February because they wouldn't give me 8 weeks unpaid maternity leave (only 6), I got $3k more for another job that is a better fit. I will be giving my 2 weeks at my current job on my first day back on December 10, and starting my new job December 31. My leave was a combination of disability, earned sick, and earned vacation, so I won't have to pay anything back (called HR to verify today).

I am excited and scared. It will be hard to start a new job with a little one around but it is soooo much closer to my house (8 minute commute vs 45) that I figure I can get through the negatives. Luckily it is really similar to my old job so the learning curve shouldn't be too bad.
