What are everyone's plans for Thanksgiving Day this year? Are you going black friday shopping?
What are you thankful for?
I'm thankful for so much, but right now mostly that LO and I are doing well and that I got to come home from the hospital and I get to spend Thanksgiving with family!
Hope you all have an amazing holiday!
Re: Happy Thanksgiving, Moms!
Hey Raeily,
Better late than never, I guess. We went to Louisville, KY for Thankgiving to spend time with SO's family. Two of his sisters hadn't met DS. LO's sleep schedule took a hard hit (we went from waking up once a night at most to waking up 3 & 4 times), we all got sick (nothing major, justing runny noses really), and nothing went quite like I had hoped/planned (that's parenthood, or so I'm told
). We didn't go shopping on Friday (I'm not a fan of crowds and Louisville's just a little too populace for me to venture out on that day).
I'm thankful to have in-laws that are so awesome. I know I'm really blessed to have a mother-in-law and sisters-in-law we not only get along but we would truly be friends outside of our family relation. Hope you and your family are doing well. Take care!
ETA: that first paragraph makes the trip sound kinda bad. We all still had a great time and I'm happy we went. It just makes me laugh that all of that happened.
We spent Thanksgiving with family in Daytona. I am thankful for my family and also that we are finally closing on our house this Friday!
I did most of my blackfriday shopping online. I scored LOTS of cloth diaper stuff on sale, and a sophie giraffe. I also scored a lot od free stuff.
I also shopped at Toys R Us later on in the day so I wouldn't get run over by crazies lol and we hit the mall the next day. We are almost done with our xmas shopping already.
