Jaundice is my new Nemesis! Baby boy's levels were high after last weeks blood draw. We go Monday for an ultra sound of his liver to rule out liver failure or deformity. If everything is good then we are mostly dealing with either an infection or breastfeeding as cause of jaundice. If its breastfeeding then there is no harm. If its infection I don't know where to start he isn't showing signs of illness other than being yellow. Cry

    IVF #2 with ICSI & PGS: July 2015, ER 7/16/15, 16R/11M/9F
    PGS results = 6 normal embryos (4 boys, 2 girls)
    FET 9/23/15 = BFFN
    Natural FET 11/4/15 = BFP!
    Beta 9dp5dt = 92

    Oh noes!  FX that that u/s gives you some comforting reassurance ~ my son had jaundice for about two weeks, and I needed to take him to get lab work done twice (though I chickened out and had my husband actually take him to the room).  It was so upsetting to see him under those lights at the hospital, but I know it was harder on me, than on him. 

    I really hope everything works out for the best in the end! :)

    Thanks ladies. His levels aren't high enough to warrant light treatment but high enough that our Dr. Wants to rule out any other cause other than being a breastfeed baby boy. His other blood work was inconclusive as to where or not he had an infection which could have been the cause of the jaundice not going away. Again thank you for your thoughts and prayer and be thinking of us Monday morning as I take my very hungry [ can't eat for 4 hours before the test] baby to be still for an u/s tech. And I get to leave my super active little girl with her inmoble grandma [MIL] oh what a Monday this is going to be!
