Feeling out of breathe?

I already am getting super winded, just going up and down stairs, ect.  I'll be 8 weeks tommorow.  Has anyone else felt this, this early on?  Or am I just SUPER out of shape?

That happened to me when I was pregnant with my DD.  It was so bad that the doctor sent me to the ER because she was sure I had a pulmonary embolism (seriously).  I didn't happen this time around and I'm not sure why it happens so early.  Obviously it will happen in the end when your lungs don't have much room.

I didn't have it that early, but it did start early in the 2nd tri.  I would suggest mentioning this to your doctor.  I found out that I had a higher than normal heart rate, due to hyperthryroidism, which may have caused some of the shortness of breath.

I didn't have it that early. I have it now but I'm 30 weeks.  I would definitely mention it to your doctor.

I felt out of breath right away, like at 8 weeks.  It didn't get much better through out my pregnancy, but went away after they were here!

I got out of breath fairly easily early on but it is definitely worse now. I don't even have to be moving to feel out of breath.

I had also read that low iron can be a cause.  My doctor ran blood work and I was on a iron supplement practically my whole pregnancy.

I had that happen too, and I was short of breath from really early on.

One of the other reasons might be because during pregnancy you have a higher volume of blood in your system so your body has to work harder to pump it through.
