I think I need a new hobby

in TTC After a Loss
I think I need to find something to do for myself. I'm not particularly crafty though. I may try to start running again (probably should), but I'd have to do that before DH leaves for work, so that doesn't help with the killing time thing. Having too much spare time allows me to dwell on things that I can't change. What are your hobbies?

    I like to run.  If I can't get out in the mornings I run on the treadmill or in the evening.  I also like to take pictures, scrapbooking, home decorating, and baking on occasion.

    I was just thinking the same thing!  I'm not crafty either.  It's sad that I know what time it is based on what's on TV and how far into the show it is.  Any ideas are helpful!

    It is rough to have spare time and nothing to do with it. I hope that you can find something that works for you!

    Some of my hobbies - playing with my dog, reading, scrapbooking,crafting, planning things for my house, planning vacations, shopping, and visiting with family and friends

    well, I'm super crafty, so my suggestions might not help

    what about finding a book club? college alumni group? volunteer organization?

    I have not had time to do this forever but I used to spend a lot of time researching my family tree.  Lots of information available online.

    Thanks ladies. We are moving in February so I will have a house to decorate then, but I think the problem is that I don't actually enjoy that, so it seems more like a chore than a fun hobby to me. I'll probably look at volunteering. Or trying to become crafty, haha.
