Introduction: DD and 7 week m/c

First pregnancy, everything was great.  We got pregnant the first month we tried, I never got sick, and everything just seemed to be going great.  At 28 weeks, I was diagnosed with GD and at 36 weeks, DD was breech.  Still, everything went just fine and she was born 3/3/11.  We waited a little while before trying again.  I've always had crazy cycles so I went to the doctor to get tested for PCOS, thyroid issues, etc.  They did a transvaginal ultrasound and found a emdometrial calcification.  After being told I would need a d&c, I went to the doctor to discuss the results.  The calcification was only 3mm so he wasn't concerned.  We were told to keep trying and then we'd reevaluate in March if nothing happened by then.

A month later, we got our BFP.  Everything seemed to be going great.  I hardly felt any symptoms, and like most people, I was nervous about our ultrasound.  But when we went in at 6w1d, everything looked perfect.  We heard the heartbeat, saw the little flicker on the screen, and were told everything looked wonderful.  Our second appointment was scheduled and we were elated to be able to tell everyone about baby #2 on Thanksgiving.  Something went wrong though.  The day before Thanksgiving, I started bleeding a lot.  Within 2 hours, I knew the baby was gone.  I passed the baby on Friday morning, so DH and I buried him/her to say our goodbyes.  

I just stopped bleeding today so we're a little while away from ttc again, but I know we will soon.  I'm sad to be here and sad for all of your losses as well.

    Sorry for your loss. Welcome to the board! The ladies here are wonderful and a wealth of knowledge. The TTCAL blog is a great source of info as well.

    BFP #2 04/25/12 EDD 01/04/13(?) confirmed ectopic 05/16/12 6 wks 5 days 2 doses of MTX-Lost left tube on 05/25/12 Back to TTC, earlier than originally expected.
    BFP #3 01/05/13 EDD 09/17/13 u/s 1/24/13-great appt, measuring 2 days ahead, NT scan 3/11/13-great scan measuring 4 days ahead, A/S 4/29/13-another great scan can't wait to meet my baby BOY!!!!!

    All RPL and IF testing with multiple REs = normal

    5 IUIs = BFN

    I'm so sorry for your loss. My story is very similar to your's, except I don't have a child yet, but step daughters. At my first appointment the u/s went great at 6 weeks and we heard the HB and saw the flicker. Then I had slight spotting (very minimal) and called the dr. My dr did an u/s and determined we lost the baby at 6 weeks 5 days. I should have been 8 weeks along. I had a D&C though.

    I'm sorry for your loss.  I also had a m/c at 7 weeks after seeing the heartbeat and having everything look okay about a week before.  Welcome to the board, I hope you get the support you need here.

    I am sorry for your loss. I also am not ready to start ttc yet. My loss and d and c was last month. I saw the heart beat at my first u/s and then the 2nd it was gone and baby had stopped growing at 6 weeks. I hope you find the support you are looking for here,

    **BFP#1 9/5/12   EDD 5/15/13  changed to 5/25/13 after u/s,  missed mc 10/19/12.  D and C 10/22/12** 
     **BFP#2 9/12/13  EDD 5/16/14 changed to 5/27/14 after u/s, hb 126 on 10/11/13, miscarriage on 10/24.13**
    ~RPL testing results from 12/6/13 show everything normal except elevated prolactin. Blood work is now in the normal range. All AL welcome!

    I am so sorry for your loss!  Stay positive!  It's hard when things go rough but we have to believe everything happens for a reason!  Just think of what an amazing guardian angel you have now! :)  Good luck when you do start again!  God Bless!
