Incision Sensitivity

How long should I expect my incision and surrounding area to be sensitive?  I can't wait to wear my normal jeans again!
Trying To Conceive since November 2009
Dx: PCOS and MFI
IUI#1-4 all BFN
IVF#1 January (4R, 4M, 1F) BFP
Colt was born on 10/27 at 11:50pm. 6lbs and 19 1/4"
Surpise! Baby #2 is on it's way.  EDD 9.18.14

    It varies from person to person, and even from c-section to c-section. I couldn't wear anything over my incision for about 4-5 months. It is much better now, but I still get bouts of tenderness and pain one year later.

    I still don't like anything sitting right on the incision.  I have to wear my panties and pants just above or it drives me crazy.

    It's not painful.  Just really annoying.  Hard to explain.

    At 6.5 months out mine is still sensitive, numb and just annoying feeling.

    I don't have any problems with jeans/underwear but sometimes when DH or DS skim over the area it really is uncomfortable.

    This. 3.5 years later and I hate having my pants or underwear right up on it. It's also numb in some spots and gets itchy, though I don't get that satisfaction of really itching it since I can't feel it.

    Now that I'm pg again, it's even more sensitive since my uterus is pushing against it. I had to get into maternity pants almost immediately.

    YES.  I hate that so much.  I scratch and it doesn't help but I can't stop scratching.

    I was back into my regular jeans 2 wks pp...the incision is numb but no problems or irritation here and I had issues with my epidural wearing off during the c-section.
