Haha, I remembered to ask! HIS femur measured about 2.7cm!!! He was moving around a LOT, but the tech was able to get all the measurements without too much trouble. This profile shot was the hardest to get because he had his face up against the placenta the whole time, like he was laying on a pillow, lol. I couldn't believe how much he was squirming around otherwise, though!!
Everything is measuring right on target for my EDD and everything looked normal and healthy! Can't wait to meet my little Veron!

My A/S is today. Why is the femur measurement important?
A while back there was a bit of discussion about the point of the a/s being the health of the baby, making sure everything was measuring ok and baby was growing properly, and that finding out the sex was the bonus, but everyone was getting hung up on finding out the sex early, or having elective u/s's and all that stuff.... I made a crack about AW'ing the length of the femur instead of the sex right off, lol, so of course I had to remember it when my a/s came around
Aww man, no femur picture?? Oh well, I guess the other pics are pretty cute, too.
Congrats on your little man!
OH, okay! I was just about to add it to the list of my questions to ask the OB when I go this afternoon, lol!
Waiting for our Miracle Baby, Carly Marie, Due April 24, 2013!
