Shot through the heart.  And you're to blame.

(yes, I quoted Bon Jovi, lol).

Thats what G said to me last night.  He's sick and it was the middle of the night.  He just wanted daddy.  Truthfully I'm glad he adores his daddy.  I'm just used to being "the comforter."

    Crying I would be heart broken too.  But, try to enjoy the free time allowed because daddy's on duty now.

    Griff calls me daddy 75 percent of the time. That kills too lol. Sorry cheekers but I'm sure tomorrow he'll be back to wanting mommy!

    That sucks.  Sad  Since DH was gone last night, we went through a good 10-20 mins of, "I miss daddy!" before we went to sleep. 

    For the last several weeks/months, it's been mommy only though.  So, as much as it sucks, right now I would be OK with it.  For like 3 days max.

    If it makes you feel better A did that when she was in the hospital with Croup. All the nurses looked at me like WTF?, yeah, I think it was the first time ever they'd seen a kid trying to claw out of their mother's arms to get to Dad.

    Oh, no!  LOL!  I also like to be the comforter. DH tends to hear DS before I do when we are sleeping, so I told him to wake me if he heard DS cry at night when he was sick.  He said he could tend to him...and I was like, "No!  I want to take care of him!"  Ha!  Silly, I know...but I'm the mommy!  And when I get him in the morning, he asks for daddy pretty quickly.  What am I, chopped liver?   I don't see daddy jumping out of bed to change your nasty diaper!
