Anyone bored and want to help with nursery ideas?

This is the bedding I got off ebay.. I will use a solid sheet.

We got some paint cards for light yellows and greens ... I am thinking maybe a chair rail.. we ordered furniture in a light oak color (called chesnut).

Anyone have creative painting or other ideas?

My friend just did similar colors! It sound weird but looks so cute! She did 2 color blues darkerblue on bottom and light blue on top with the yellowy-green color as the chairrail color. It is sooo freaking cute! You could even just do the light color blue on top and bottom with the yellow chair rail.

I love the 12 x 12 squares in different colors on the top half of the room and then a solid on the bottom. I think there are like 3 to 4 different colors for the squares and then each lower wall is one of the colors. I tried to find the picture I saw but cant find it. I didn't save it because DH said no way was he putting that much into it, if we might be moving.

Yeah so we compromised. We picked out three colors for his room. Coconut milk (a darker cream tone) for the top half of the room on all four walls. then the wall border and then colors on the bottom portion. The lower two walls with the most wall space we are doing a blue that matches his bedding. Then on the other lower two walls we are doing the green that goes with his bedding.

I just sent my own DH this other nursery pic -- it's a simpler pattern, but I wonder how much it would cost! I also like what they did with the stripes towards the top, and the words over the crib.

Think it's bad to do like the bottom half wall paper (stripes or a pattern) with a chair rail and the top solid paint?? or vice versa with the top having wallpaper...

to answer your last question. No I dont think it would be bad to do that. I tend to think that a solid on top is better because you will probably be hanging wall art and frames and things like that and I think that looks better on a solid.
