Sick Baby ?

Are there any tips for a congested, coughy and snotty baby? Dylan is sick for the first time and I do have a humidifier running in his room and give him baby advil before bed since when he coughs it hurts and makes him cry

Anything else I can do for him?

Humidifier and Baby Vicks rub works wonders!

ETA: Duh, I'm an idiot. You said you are running a humidifier. I think some ladies mentioned there are Vicks plug ins also but I've never tried them. Saline spray helps with the nose congestion. Hope he feels better soon!

When L is super stuffy, I shut us in the bathroom and run the shower super hot and we sit in the steam for a while. Like the PP, humidifier, vicks, and saline drops are our friends when he is sick! He has had several colds this year so I feel like the poor kid is always having a humidifier and vicks put on him! i hope he feels better soon.

We steam up the bathroom really good and sit in it for like half an hour. We put baby Vicks on his feet and put socks on him. Baby Vicks on his chest. Also saline drops in his nose and use the booger sucker to get all that stuff out! We don't have a humidifier because I'm so paranoid about them after watching a 20/20 special

These are my tricks for stuffy baby

1. steamy shower

2. vicks baby vapor rub on chest and feet

3. suck boogers often

4. Saline drops

5. Humidifier

If I have to sleep holding her in the recliner so she stays up right and can breath to sleep, I do so....it is the only way to get some sleep when she is super congested.

These all the way. Audrey has had this cold twice, and it sucks.
