Going to start TTC... any advice?

in TTC After a Loss
So I finally stopped bleeding after my MMC and D&C. I had what I think was a cycle. So now were are going to start TTC. Anybody have any advice on tracking ovulation and good times to try. I really do not know how all of that works. WIth my last pregnancy, I had an irregular period, So I would calculate my O around the time that it MIGHT come and have sex every other day for 2 weeks. Once I started doing that we managed to conceive within 2 months. But before that, it was 10 months. So anything you ladies have is greatly appreciated.

    I have started temping and charting so once we can TTC I can have a better understanding of my cycles since mine are irregular. Since I'm new to it all I really don't have any advice for you. You can check out fertilityfriend.com for further info on charting. I also bought 100 OPK's and 20 HPT's made by Wondfo on Amazon.com for 24.95 that just came in today so I can help pinpoint when I O. GL and I hope you get your take home baby!

    I agree with St.lucia, you should read our blog that can be found in the board header. It is full of useful information. Also, you should sign up for fertilityfriend.com and take the tutorials on there. If you have irregular cycles, you would really benefit from charting.

    I am so sorry for your loss. Welcome to the board. I agree with what the PP's have said. The blog has a lot of great information. Most women here use Fertility Friend along with CM, and OPK's to track their cycles. Good luck to you.

    I agree with the PPs.  I would get a copy of Taking Charge of Your Fertility, get a BBT and start charting.

    First I'm so sorry for your loss but welcome to the board.  I'll reiterate what the other gals have said...charting and TCOYF are great tools!  And yes, definitely read the blog as it contains a wealth of knowledge and guidelines.  Also take the time to lurk a bit and get a "feel" for this board.  Maybe an intro would be helpful to us so we can "get to know you" a bit more.  I clicked on your avitar and got a message that said "This user is not recognized". ???? I was trying to see where your other 12 or 13 posts were to try to see if I recognized you from other posts.  Again, so sorry you're here. (hugs)

    I have intro'd before. I also clicked my avatar to see why my picture was different. It used to have a picture of me and it's gone. Strange. Let me see if I can get it all straightened out. I though it was just my computer or internet being silly. But if it looks like that to other people too, I need to fix it. Brb with it either fixed or linked to my intro. Thanks for letting me know.
