in the car sucks. I am a teacher and had to go to a meeting at our district office. I am having to pump in my car in the lot and it is no fun. No real point to this other than to vent a little.

    I don't think I'd be able to do it in the car.  I'd be so self-concious.  I would work against myself.  :(

    I pump in the car sometimes if SO is driving. I have a car plug for my PISA so I don't have to use the hand pump. It's more comfortable than a bathroom.


    Edit.. now that I think about it, if you're pumping in a parked car with other cars around I'd be uncomfortable. Eek

    Yeah it does! I had to pump in my car during an outdoor wedding I was a bridesmaid in. I was so hoping no one would come tapping on the windows!

    Sometimes if I'm in a parking lot I hope in the back seat to pump because its a little less "exposed" and my windows are tinted in the back so that helps too!

    someone bought me a nursing cover for my shower and i use that when i have to pump inthe car in a lot somewhere.  if DH is driving somewhere i don't worry about it too much.  maybe try one of the babys burp cloths? they're typically big enough to at least cover some, or could be rolled up in the window.

    I am fine pumping while driving but pumping in the lot was no fun. I did wear my cover. Luckily my bosses both males are super flexible and understanding. Whatever I need, they will try their best to accommodate.
