Just days shy of her 10 month birthday, Ava is finally teething. It appears she is getting 2, possible 4 bottom teeth in.
i know it has been talked about lots in the past but i never really paid attention as it didn't apply to us at the time.
So can all.of you teething experts out there give me the low down, what ti expect, tips and tricks, etc.
TIA!

Re: teething
I'm one of those *cruel* parents who gives my kid Tylenol or Advil when they're in pain, especially at bedtime. I actually found a homeopathic teething drops by Gentle Naturals and they seem to do the trick for the days before it gets really bad. It's along the same lines as gripe water, I would say.
Frozen teething rings or washcloths, too. Or ice chips in those mesh baby feeder things--that's Jon Daniel's favorite.
Definitely recommend Advil over Tylenol, especially if you are giving before bed - it lasts longer. We tried Hyland's Teething Tablets. I didn't see much success with them personally, but lots of friends rave about them.
Good luck!! I was blessed with a kiddo (so far) who still eats and sleeps well while teething. Crossing my fingers it lasts - we are on tooth #3 currently.
