Before I got pregnant I would run 6-8 miles 5 days a week or do my Insanity DVD's. During my first trimester I was so sick and exhausted that I could barely get out of bed for work, let alone work out. Now that I am in my second tri, I feel great and have more energy (although not nearly as much as before) but still can't seem to conjure up the motivation to work out. My doctor doesn't want me working out as intensely as before which takes some of the fun out of it for me and makes motivation even harder to come by. I bought a pregnancy workout DVD but it was so cheesy that I couldn't get past the warm-up ("Let's do the baby bounce!" gag me). It's also tough because I manage a restaurant and I work 50+ hours a week, most of which is spent on my feet, and that drains the energy that I do have. Am I just being too hard on myself? I know exercise is important for a healthy pregnancy but how hard should I push myself to make myself do it? I have only gained 3 lbs so far so weight is not an issue...
Re: Am I just lazy?
I disagree. If you are used to doing Insanity, and your pregnancy is not high risk, then there is no reason for you to stop (unless you just don't want to!). Talk to your OB about it.

This. I'm still doing all of my old workouts with the only modification being I don't lay on my back to do core. I take a class called 30/60/90 which is HIIT Training and basically Insanity with weights and although it's getting harder, I can do it without modifications. I just make sure I can pass the talk test when things get too intense. After getting clearance from your doc...go for it. I think you will feel so much better.
