Just heard back from the nurse, and it looks like I'll definitely be stimming today and tomorrow, and possibly Wednesday. Here are my stats:
Total Follies: 21
Sizes: 15(2), 14(4), 12(2), 11, 10(4), 9(2), 8(2), 7(3), 6.
Lining: 9.4 (Personal best. Last cycle it maxed out at 8.4 on trigger day).
E2: 1785 (a lot higher than last time when follies were at this size, but I'm going to try and take that as a good sign and hope it doesn't get too high too fast).
I'll be taking my 75IU of Follistim again and stick with the 3 vials of Menopur tonight. I just ordered another 3 vials for tomorrow night since I'll be out after tonight. Of course I have 4 300IU cartridges of Follistim left, of which I'll only need one more, so that's frustrating to see it (hopefully) go to waste.
Last time, with my follies roughly this size, it took 3 more days of stims before I triggered. That time my biggest was 20.5, and she wants them at least 18, so it'll depend what size she wants to see before I trigger, since I imagine I'll have one or two that size by Wed. morning.
The good news is it works well with DH's schedule since he's in grad school and has Fridays off. Also, since Monday is his last day of the semester (he has 2 exams), so long as I don't have ER Friday AND have a 3dt, we'll be able to avoid ER and ET on a busy school day.
Re: Follie Check #4
That sounds great! Which pharmacy did you end up using for your Microdose Lupron?
I ended up using Freedom Fertility, but only because my insurance covered it for some reason. Right now, they seem to be covering that at 100%, and I only pay $2.18/vial for progesterone. I have to pay OOP for the Follistim, Menopur, and Trigger.
If I had to go out of pocket for the Lupron, I would have used Mandell's, assuming it was free shipping (forgot to ask), since they were the cheapest by far at $72.98.
Not that you asked, but if you or anyone else was curious, I got the Menopur from Freedom at $69.99/vial (same price at Avella), and the Follistim ($254/300IU) and HCG ($59.90) at Walgreen Specialty, where they have a program that gives you $100 off every $1000 spent on stims ($25 enrollment fee, but they send you a $25 Walgreens gift card).
I wish I hadn't ordered so much Follistim. I had no idea my cartridges had so much extra in them. We ordered enough for 10 days, based on 300IU, knowing there was a little extra, and thinking my dose might be increased. Well, here I am on day 12 of stims, and I have 4 unopened boxes left! Small price to pay if things work out, but all I can think is that there is $1000 of meds sitting in my fridge I (hopefully) won't be using!
Sorry, got off track there. I'm waiting for the call back from my nurse to get my E2 and instructions, and then I'll post today's monitoring info, but FX, it looks like I trigger tomorrow, woohoo!
IVF #1: 9/11: ER: 12R, 11M, 10F, No Frosties; 5dt: 2 blasts, 1 morula; DD born 6/3/12
IVF #2: 11/12-12/12: ER: 20R, 20M, 16F, 4 Frosties; 5dt: 3 blasts, DS born 8/9/13
3 more days of stims for you? I am thinking that we are in exact same position as I think ours are averaging out about the same. Except for my large one.
I posted my update above. I really don't think I will trigger tomorrow like she thinks. I mean can you just keep stiming forever? I am now wondering how that will mess up implantation? I wonder if it would be better to do a FET. Not that I want to wait or spend more money, but I want to do whats best.
What do you think about this seemingly never ending stimming??
I do hope your timing works out with DH's school stuff!

I've been in your shoes. It just FEELS like you'll be stimming forever. I went 13 days last time and got my baby, so try not to get discouraged. As it is, if I get to trigger tomorrow, I'll have done 13 days of microdose lupron and 11 days of stims, for a grand total of 37 shots!
I don't think there's any correlation between stimming length and implantation, other than E2 numbers getting high and/or OHSS, and like you said, the worst case scenario would be FET.
Where is that nurse with my info already, I'm getting impatient! I usually hear from her by now. Hopefully she'll call before lunch, otherwise I'm going to have try and track her down. A funny aside: as I mentioned before, I usually have my nurse fax me my reports so I don't have to wait, but she just left this week for surgery and is out for the rest of the year. Well the nurse was finally ready for me this morning (I meet with her to discuss u/s, but have to wait for labs/instructions over the phone later in the day), and handed me the paperwork. I guess the other backup nurse "warned" her after I asked for copies the past couple of days!
