So I figured since I had said a few times on this board that I didn't like my Diva Cup, I needed to come back and say that I eat my words. I finally figured it out and I LOVE it! Turns out I needed to cut the stem off completely and I was also inserting it wrong (I was trying to put it too far in like a tampon, so it wouldn't pop open and kept leaking and feeling uncomfortable). Since I started putting it in correctly and cut the stem the whole way off I can't even feel it. Love love love. So easy now and I will never use another tampon.
On a related note, the only Cyber Monday orders I placed today were for cloth panti-liners to wear with my Diva Cup. I lead such an exciting life. I know you're jealous.

Re: I finally figured it out! Diva Cup related
I seriously will never go back. I love mine. (I use a Moon Cup, not a Diva, but same idea)
And you'll love the cloth panti-liners! So much softer than normal ones.
I really need to try this out. A post about the diva cup comes up on TB, like, once a month and I always say I'll check it out.
Good tips.

DO IT. And if it's not comfortable or you don't like it, you're probably not using it right. In which case you should come back here and pick our brains so we can help you. I wish I'd figured out how to use this sucker when I bought it a few years ago! It makes me feel much better about AF.
I'm also debating getting a bigger cup (I bought the Diva a few years ago in the pre-pregnancy size) and I think I might try the Lunette. Or maybe just the bigger Diva.

There are lots of different brands, I would read up on them before you purchase one.
I share in your shame.
Un-shame yourselves and get reading!
That article Penny posted seems helpful. If you can get past the "yuck" factor (which I don't even think is any yuckier than tampons or pads especially) then there's really no reason not to.
