Does anyone know the recommendations about how much you should have sex on the days leading up to ovulation? Is every day better, or every other day? Or twice in a day? I feel like I've heard conflicting things about sperm count related to how frequently one has sex.
I realize having sex every day can be best because you don't want to miss ovulation altogether. But lets say hypothetically you knew the exact day you'd ovulate. Would it be better to have sex O-2, O-1, and O or just O-2 and O?
ETA: assume you know nothing about the guy's sperm count, but that you have no reason to believe it would be lower than normal.

This. I don't really think there is an exact science behind it, and it seems as though EOD should be sufficient. However, if you can handle every day without getting worn out, go for it!
All of this. I got pregnant doing EOD and I'm going to give that a try again.

I hear you. Last cycle we were doing ED and even got a twice-a-day in there. Then I realized I still hadn't ovulated so we went on this way for more than a week (but eventually dropped to EOD). Based on when I did eventually ovulate we had good timing but not good enough for a BFP!

О Привязать! Z!
i hear ya. For a long time the only cycle we hit O-1 was the cycle I got pregnant on. I was convinced that was why and became a bit obsessed with that timing until I had several cycles that included O-1 and no BFP under my belt.
О Привязать! Z!
I think EOD is fine (that's what we did when we got pregnant with our son - we hit O-2 and O).
This, though, is why I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE OPKs now. My long, irregular, inconsistent cycles don't lend itself to predicting O dates very well. Last cycle it was CD68!!!! This cycle it was like CD35 or something. Normal, pre-baby it was CD18-24 or so. EOD is fine, but I couldn't emotionally handle it for longer than a week, much less WEEKS when I eventually Od on CD68. A-M-A-Z-I-N-G things, those OPKs.
Oh wow! I had the opposite experience. pre-baby I had weird and long cycles (35-50 days). Post-baby, my cycles have fallen within a 3-6 day or so window, right near the typical 28 or 29 day mark. I hope yours shorten up and regulate as your baby gets older (mine is almost 2 now) but actually I hope you just get your BFP asap so it's moot! :-)
