Re: No Testes Tuesday yet?!

  • My pothead neighbor may lose his testes if he doesn't stop making noise soon.
Seriously, if you are in your 50s, lay off the drugs or stop acting like a jack azz while on it. Very shortly, I may just be an azzhole and let Shadow play in the yard for while. That will buy me quiet time for naptime he is afraid of dogs and always goes inside if she is in the back. Never mind the 6 foot fence in between. But hey, at least I have a way to shut him up. Fun fact: Shadow never notices him. Or she ignores him. Either way, it seems off that he always goes inside. He is not allergic, I asked his son and Shadow doesn't shed because I am allergic. But who knows how she looks like when he is high as a kite...

  • DH, the TV is still laying on our bedroom floor after a week! You promised you were going to hang it last week! DS is going to sit on it and break it soon! You have been procrastinating with pretty much everything lately and I can't figure out why. What's going on? You are driving me insane!!
  • Yeah, without punctuation, my post looks idiotic there. Just imagine some brackets and such.

  • My husband thinks he deserves a d@#$ Nobel Prize every time he does something around the house.

We made a huge effort to clean the house this weekend. Sunday afternoon, I told him that one of us needed to tend to E while the other cleaned the dining room. E was acting like a beast and needed a nap, so (of course) he decided to clean while I tried to rock her to sleep. Given the choice between watching E and doing ANYTHING else, DH always pick the alternative. So while DH dusted and vacuumed and sorted all HIS papers and old mail that HE has been dumping on the hutch, E sat in my lap and slapped me and pulled my hair and fussed and threw her paci on the ground and then wined because she wanted it back. I never managed to get her to sleep. Later in the evening, DH complained that I never thanked him for cleaning or complimented the job he'd done. I could have killed him!

  • I've been running 1.52 miles 3x a week for a couple months now. Granted I took two weeks off due to asthma issues, but I'm still going strong with training. I haven't really dropped any weight, but my DH works out a couple of times and is down 5 lbs. Ashat.

Ugh...I hate that!!! I've been busting my azz eating 3 spinach leaves and 2 almonds a day and have lost like an ounce.  DH cuts back on a beer or two and goes down a size.  MEN!!!

  • Y'all will think mine is ridiculous but it makes me insane! The back story is I despise Carrie Underwood. I think she hollers instead of singing and I can't stand hearing her on the radio (although I do like her newest song). Anyway, DH decided that to get to me he would start calling me "Carrie" every time I holler at him. It burns my a** up but he thinks it's hilarious. I have to get him back but just can't think of a good way yet... Any suggestions?

  • DH is the worst and pickiest eater ever. He is worse than Alastair. Between the two of them and my allergies, I may now only bake bread. It's awful!

This drives me crazy, too!  But DH doesn't complaint that I didn't thank/compliment him, he just compliments himself and forces me to agree with him.  "I did this really well.  Didn't I do this really well?  Isn't it so good?  I'm impressed that I did such a good job!"  Ick!  At least most of the time he's good about thanking me for the stuff I do around the house.  Most of the time.

DH usually thanks me when I clean, but I find it kind of silly and unnecessary to shower each other with complements about doing our chores. Maybe I'm too negative.
