Just for fun...
I think 40 weeks is a bit much...but you still need time to prepare for baby. I think 7ish months would be a good amount of time for pregnancy to last.
What do you think? Anyone enjoy it so much they wish it lasted longer than 40 weeks? ![]()

Re: If it were up to you, how long would pregnancy be?
Agree with 7 months. I was just thinking about this today!
Add me to Team 7 Months! I mean I want my son to come out when he's ready and healthy but this momma is ready to meet her LO already!

I don't think you're insane. I might get more uncomfortable further on but right now I'm fine. The only reason right now I wish she was out is I'm really sick, throwing up phlegm all day, it's awful, but not sure not being pregnant would make it easier except I could take strong medicine.
I love having almost a whole year to prepare myself and my home for a baby, but physically, I would prefer the stork. Just let me know when the baby is here and I'm good.
Not that I don't love being pregnant; I really do. I just don't love all of the side effects of pregnancy. It's been really, really rough from the beginning until now and if I could eliminate those effects, 40 weeks would be lovely. But since I can't, then I vote stork all the way.
Amen. DH and I were debating about having 3-4 kids, but I think I'm going to put my foot down after 3 if a third take-home baby pregnancy goes anything like these first two. Blah.

32 weeks. Maybe with a due date of 33 weeks, and the baby came within a week of that window as often as they currently do within 2 weeks. 32 weeks was when I was done being pregnant, which would've been a nice stage for him to come at. I was at "for the love of all things sane, get him OUT!" as of 39 weeks (pelvic pain - chiropractor put me right yesterday afternoon, though.) REALLY hoping he goes before 40.
I like DH's solution - we just need to be marsupials.
If it were up to me pregnancy would be exactly like it is in The Sims. The couple "Woo Hoo" then there's music. The next day the mother gets sick and wonders if she's pregnant. The next day the mother gets a baby bump. One more day of pregnancy then the mother whirls around and sparkly glitter and a baby appears in her arms (she automatically fits back into her old clothes). So like 4 days.
But in reality, 30ish weeks would be good.
ILY for The Sims response.
LMBO at 1 week!!
I'm 32 weeks now and I feel like it's flown by! I think 40 seems good, but I'm a FTM so maybe ask me again in January
