Anyone worked with/heard of

Dr. Vincent Berger and Adoption Services?

It looks like he is based out of PA, but works with couples all over the country.  MH and I are trying to decide if this is an agency we'd like to work with in addition to our current agency.

Any experiences?

    We matched one of his situations through a facilitator but ended up declining the situaiton mostly because of his requirements.   I found him passionate about his program but not willing to make realistic concessions (for example, he needed us to fly from the West Coast to PA to attend an informtion session with him three days after we matched... and he wouldn't hold the session on a weekend).

     Mind you, we were feeling really desperate when we matched yet we couldn't move forward because of the weird nature of this relationship.

    Have you spoken much with him? 

    I had a hard time w/his personality esp in such a stressful period of time.  He is nice but unbendable.

    Hi ~

    I'm researching on adopting and saw Dr. Berger's services for helping decide which avenue to adopt. Saw your email posting string and so signed up in this network for support in deciding.

    I would like to chat more on your feedback/experience (good and bad) with Dr. Berger?  

    New to using web language- how to PM?

    p.s. you have adorable children btw.
