Hi to all the MoM's. Update on us - looks like we'll more than likely be having December babies instead of January. One of our twins has been diagnosed with IUGR, but fortunately she's still doing well and gaining weight. I'm praying every day that we can make it as long as possible and bake them a little more
QOTW: best and worst thing about thanksgiving - best would have to be maternity pants! worst, probably the fact that I'm entering into that stage where I can't eat a whole ton of food at one time. I've been eating a bunch of smaller meals and snacks during the day because I get so full so fast. So the concept of eating one huge meal on T-day just wasn't happening for me!
QOTW- The best part: comfy pants and actually being pregnant! The worst part: Not having enough stomach room for seconds!
Update- I'm sitting at the hospital now on bedrest waiting for the results of my 24 hr urine collection. The docs keeping saying I'm probably going to be out of work.
Worst My husband works retail so had to be in at work at 8pm thanksgiving night.
Update Tomorrow we have the echocardiogram ultrasound for the twins and I have my second glucose test on Thursday. I passed a few weeks ago so I hope I pass again!
Update: We had a growth scan last week. The babies are weighing 1.6 lbs and 1.7 lbs. Everything looked great. I also celebrated v-day on Saturday!
QOTW: The best thing was being thankful for my pregnancy, being able to eat as much as I wanted, and being able to keep my feet up and not being expected to do the dishes! The worst part was not being able to have wine.
Update: Braxton Hicks contractions are getting completely ridiculous. They are strong enough I can't just ignore them and consistent enough where I am constantly timing and trying to decide whether it is time to call or go in!
As for thanksgiving the best thing was that the wonderful intended mother of these babies sent me a fully cooked meal from Costco that was enough to feed my husbands family with very little prep work from me. The worst part was cleaning the house in preparation for visitors and cleaning up dishes and such afterwards! And that I ate way too much and my stomach hurt the whole night since there just isn't room!
I would love to be added to the check in. I am pregnant with twins due June 12. We are not finding out the sex of the babies. I am already a mom to 2 boys ages 4 and 2 1/2.
QOTW: I loved eating as much as I wanted on Thanksgiving and the leftovers. I did not like how tired I was at the end of the day though.
I would love to be added to the check-in! I just found out I'm having twins this morning - I'm due 7/24. I figure I'm going to need all the support I can get!
Best thing about Thanksgiving: telling our immediate family we are pregnant after dinner. Little did we know we were in for a surprise today...we'll be spreading the double trouble news this week
Worst thing: morning sickness on Thanksgiving. Fortunately, I was feeling much better by dinner time.

Update: I had another amniotic fluid check this morning due to last week's results showing higher than normal levels for my 2 ID boys. This morning the levels were normal, so that's great. My cervix is also holding steady at over 4.5cm. Woo hoo!
QOTW: The best thing was eating double portions of dessert and no one saying a word
. I also enjoyed sitting with my feet up while my mom and sister cleaned up. The worst thing was probably feeling so guilty about not helping to clean up, but I quickly got over it, lol.
PAIFW/SAIFW
DS1 born July 2002 (previous marriage).
TTC since Oct 08. DH Dx w/testicular cancer March 09.
MFI due to retrograde ejaculation/azoospermia.
5/2 IVF #1 cancelled due to large follie.
6/14 start Lupron for IVF #1.2. 6/22 start stims.
7/4 ER and Biopsy.
7/9 Transferred 2 (1-4BB and 1-3BB) embryos. 4 frosties.
7/15 +HPT 6dp5dt. 7/18 Beta #1: 193. 7/20 Beta #2: 415.
8/10 1st u/s - It's triplets!
Update: I am now going for BPPs once a week and NSTs twice a week. So far the babies have been doing great so I am grateful for that!
QOTW: The best part of Thanksgiving was just being thankful for these babies, and seeing how excited everyone is for their arrival. The worst part was not being able to drink any wine, lol.
Hello, waiting on my appoinment on the 3rd to find out my u/s date.
QOTW: best part is family. Worst part is how exhausted I was cooking for two straight days.
Update - Took my 1 hour glucose today so fingers crossed I pass. Also we do our first bpp next week and start them every two weeks until 32 weeks and then weekly as long as everything stays on track. I am exhausted and swollen all the time so I am hoping my body catches up for some relief. While I have been worried about my bp with all the swelling, it has always been way low (102/52 this morning).
QOTW: Best part was not be expected to do anything other than sit and chat. Also so very thankful we have made it this far with little complications with these boys. The worst was the crowded house where I felt like I was constantly getting bumped (we have an insanely large family) by one of the 72 people who were there. Also not being able to eat very much of my favorite meal of the year due to my stomach being pushed into my throat.
On another really positive note, due to the small stomach, I had thanksgiving dinner about 6 times total throughout the weekend!

Jacob and Samuel born 1/29/13 at 36 weeks.
Update: Passed last week's BPP with a perfect score and both babies grew an entire pound in a 2 week period.
QOTW: Best - have two babies to be thankful for and being able to eat whatever I want without feeling like a fatty. Worst - Having the same conversations with everyone over and over again about how I feel, how the babies are doing, am I breastfeeding, blah, blah, blah!
TX: IUI #1-4 = BFN + 1 c/p
IUI #5: Clomid 100mg + Bravelle + Trigger + B2B IUIs + 800mg Progesterone = BFP!

Can you add me too! I had my first ultrasound at 5wks and there were two gestational sacs and two yolk sacs. Today's ultrasound confirmed two growing babies. Baby A was measuring 7wks 2 days and Baby B was 7wks 1 day. Both had heartbeats of 145bpm. My due date is July 13.
The best part of being pregnant with multiples over Thanksgiving was knowing I had twice as much to be thankful for. The worst part was not being able to enjoy a glass of wine while dealing with the MIL. Although, I was feeling so queasy that it didn't even sound that good.
QOTW:
The best thing was people telling me to get my food first! The worst thing was not being able to eat as much as I would like due to lack of room and then being nauseated after eating. I am really looking forward to the day that I am not nauseated 24/7!!
Update:
No big updates here. At my last growth scan, baby A was 2 lbs 8oz and baby B was 2lbs 14 oz (16% difference) so they are watching their growth closer. I am still working 12-14 hour shifts full time and hope I can hang in there another 5-7 weeks!
Welcome all the new twin moms to be!!
My update: Dr. was happy with our babies' progress yesterday. They will wait until next growth scan Dec. 19 to see if Baby A is still breech to schecule a c/s for around 38 weeks. He estimated babies will be close to 6 lbs at 38 weeks. I go back in 2 weeks, then weekly after that. Babies are moving A LOT!!
QOTW: best thing - just being able to sit on the couch a lot!
Best thing maternity pants and not having to unbutton your pants because you ate too much hahaha. Worst thing would be not being able to have a drink with dinner and being nauseous still.
Update: our 16 week appointment is Monday excited to see the babies again and maybe have a guess to what we are having.
