Everyone needs to know!!

So I'm sure most of you know this but I was reminded today by my best friend since she didn't know that this may be worth saying.
You should NOT give children aspirin!! This hits very close to home for me since my husband was given petobismal which contains asprin as a five year old for an upset stomach and devolped rye syndrome. Long story short his brain swelled, they had to drill a hole in his scull still has a dent to this day his parents were told he would probably die, was in a comma for ten days and in the icu for three weeks. He was very lucky he recovered but still has some memory problems from it but it was a very scary time for his family.
I am beyond thankful he was one of the lucky ones who survived but it is still a very scary thing to me. So when a friend told me today she gave her three year old aspirin it scared me. Anyway not trying to scare you all but I care about you and your lo so I had to share.

Thanks! It's always good to share info like this even if the vast majority know better. There are always those few who don't know, and if it helps them and their LO, then it's definitely worth sharing.
