Poop Strike

So DS usually poops 1-2 times a day, well he hasn't pooped since yesterday morning. When should I be concerned? He is BF and receives 2-4 oz of formula a day.

    His body may be adjusting to being able to digest food better or differently. I think usually pediatricians aren't concerned until they haven't for 3 days if that's not the norm for that particular baby.

    Evie gets mostly breast milk, but about 4oz of formula three days a week at daycare...the longest she's gone is about three days. Just watch his behavior...if he seems more fussy or uncomfortable you may have a problem.

    Paula switched to every other day about 2 weeks ago, and now the last time she went was Friday! She seems just fine so I'm only worried about the devastation that awaits us once she finally goes.

    Until he was about 2 months old, DS pooped multiple times a day.  Since then, the frequency has decreased.  Lately he has been going once every 4-5 days.  He's not uncomfortable and still has loose stools.  As long as that doesn't change, I'm not concerned.
