October 2011 Moms

Hi Elsa...we're ok..

Thank you for continuing to think of us and keep us in prayer.

Things are about to get more difficult for me though because supervised visitation will probably begin sometime this week. The thought of leaving my precious angel with that monster, even supervised, is almost unbearable :(

The CFI is not happy with me because she feels like I am delaying the process...which I sort of am. He is being unreasonable and selfish, as usual, about the times for visits. He works and lives very near the place where visitation will take place, and I will have to drive the baby more than 30 miles, in rush hour traffic, plus the possible bad road conditions in Winter. He could easily use his lunch hour once a week...this I know, because he used to take extended lunches all the time and just have someone at the front desk clock him in or out. He used company time on a regular basis for personal things, and I know that his supervisor knows and doesn't really have a problem with it.

So obviously he is only doing this to screw with me, and of course, no consideration for the safety of the baby. I'm trying very hard to hold my sh!t together emotionally...not an easy task :.-(...

I just read your post about the creepy neighbor!! Please be safe, that is so frightening!!!!

  • Just out of curiosity, why can't they make him come to you? I'm guessing after not too many visits he'll stop showing up either way.

Because we're doing supervision through an organization designed for parents who cannot get along reasonably or where protection orders are in place.

I pray that you're right about him going away. My fear is that he will take her out of that place and I'll never see her again. There are no police on site...all they would be able to do is call them and hope to find him before something terrible happens...

  • Good to hear you are still out there and all is well for the most part. My cousin went through the same thing with visitation, her ex acted like he was the best dad in the world am demanded that he get to see their daughter. The first two visitations, he showed up. After that, he kept trying to change visitation times and days, and then stop showing up. Since my cousin worked, my aunt was the person who dropped the baby off. My aunt would always show up on the date and time scheduled and wrote down if she showed up or not. If he showed up, she would park down the street where she could see if he tried to leave wirh the baby. Eventually, the judge said they no longer had to give him visitation because he wouldn't even bother to show. Hopefully the same thing happens to you and your daughter. Good luck!!!!

Ohhh I hope you are right Elsa.

  • If you are really worried about him taking the baby, they have little tracking devices that you could attach to a bag or clothes. Not to be over dramatic, but something like that may give you a little piece of mind. Hopefully he stops showing up after a couple of visits.
