hospital bag
Everytime i get a ache or pain dh complains that my hospital bag is still only half packed. I'm 35 weeks now...gonna finish it this week. Any last minute suggestions or must haves..i have looked up countless lists..just wanted to double check...oh and must haves for dh while we are there as well. Thanks in advance

Hair ties, headband and/or bobby pins, chapstick, slippers, something to wear home, toiletries, camera and charger, phone charger.
For dh toiletries, pajamas, maybe some cash for vending machines.

This is my go to for when I start packing. I'm being lazy though so I'll do it in a week or two.
I was so bad and never did a bag while of with DD. She even came late... Oops! Dh was a trooper and packing everything while I was in the hospital.
I vowed to be more prepared this time. I have my bag out, but haven't put anything in yet. I am going to pack most of my toiletries and at least a top to go home in. I currently am living in sweatpants when I am at home and I want to wear those home from the hospital. I figure I will wait until its closer to pack a pair of those.
Other than toiletries, slippers, and clothes.to go home in for me there isn't much else I can pack head of time. I'll add the camera charger, computer and phone charger when it gets closer.
chap stick and lotion, hospitals are very dry. DH always has some in his scrubs at work!
I have my essentials packed: travel contact solution, contact case, eye drops, shampoo, body wash, poof, deodorant, two toothbrushes and toothpaste, lotion, chapstick, hair ties, headband, facial wipes, nail clippers, nursing tanks, footie socks, zipper hoodie, slippers, flip flops ..I just need to throw in a few pairs of my yoga pants, tshirts and my robe in and I'm done.
Baby book and bobby pillow are also ready to go.
I created a list for DH but he hasn't packed his bag quite yet.
Baby bag is packed with nail clippers/nail file, some onesies, some sleepers, soothies, take home outfits, some burp clothes, a baby blanket, lanolin cream, diaper cream...
I have a last minute bag too that has a list on it, we will throw things in right before walking out the door: iPads, chargers, camera, batteries, cell phone chargers, loose change for vending machines, some snacks out of the pantry for DH.
Im sure I'm absolutely over packing...but I always over pack! And I'm sure I'll be adding a few things here or there!

I like the idea of having a list of last-minute things you can't pack ahead of time! When I was in labor with DS, my bag wasn't packed and I couldn't think straight as I was running around putting my bag together.
