So we were at the IL's over the Thanksgiving holiday, and on Friday night I had a lovely experience that I thought that I'd share. Everyone loves a poop story, don't they?
I hadn't gone #2 since Tuesday, and it was Friday night. I finally started feeling the urge, so I went to tend to my needs in the downstairs bathroom. FIL, SIL, DH and I were watching TV down there, and I didn't want to go upstairs and wake C. After all was said and done, I flushed and the motherfker wouldn't go down! It's not like there was a huge quantity, just dense. I flushed and waited, flushed and waited and it was a no-go. And of COURSE there was no plunger in the bathroom. I quietly scooted upstairs and coudn't find one in there either. Who doesn't have a plunger in the house?! By then, I thought that the situation might have broken up so I could flush it down. No dice.
I don't get embarrassed easily, but I didn't want to go and loudly announce my issue to the room, so I quietly asked DH if he knew where a plunger might be. He just smiled at me and said no(I've needed a plunger at home several times, and he laughs at me about it) I go to the bathroom again and try my flushing game, and hear a knock. FIL had gotten the plunger out from the garage. I try to use it, and the motherfker turns inside-out every time I try to use it! It took literally 25 minutes of me using it, then having to flip it back around at every plunge. I finally found sucess, cleaned up the bathroom and went to the living room where I had to address the elephant in the room. That's exactly what I wanted to be doing at someone elses' house.
Sigh. Anyone else got any funny poop tales?
Re: Confession from last Friday night *CODE BROWN - NBR*
If It makes you feel any better, That has happened to me TWICE at my ILs house. What is wrong with people that they dont have a plunger? Maybe their poop is just better than ours
Oh no Chunstad! I am giggling at my desk right now.

OCT 2011 Moms BlogMy IL's have a water saving toilet. Let's just say we have learned to scoot way back to find the water when going number two.
Many of the kids have not learned that trick yet and 9 times out of ten there will be a log stuck to the side at some point during a family gathering.
