I'm feeling some lower abdominal pains/ cramps this morning. I don't want to be a worry wart any time I have a pinch or pain. So just ride it out and see if it gets worse? Then call dr?
I have no spotting and I kepe thinking I'm safe til I see that.
Any words to calm me?

Re: Cramping
Ugh, I was in the recliner all day yesterday with abdominal cramps, just like I was getting my period. I couldn't stand up or do much, just sit there with a heating pad and feel miserable. I kept waiting to feel LO move, I was so paranoid. I decided that if I wasn't feeling better by today I was going to call my MW, but the cramps seem to have gone away.
Google is no help, everything says "OMG Cramps mean bad bad things so panic right now!!". Message boards all said don't worry unless there is blood or other discharge.
I'm taking the stay calm route and calling the MW if it happens again, no need to panic though. I don't want to be one of those "holy cow, I didn't have to pee overnight I must not be pregnant anymore!!" mothers- to- be.
I agree with this. This is exactly why I Google NOTHING! I always end up getting myself into a tizzy. I say, drink a ton of water and try to relax. If the cramps continue on it never hurts to call your doctor. They will probably do an US and it will give you piece of mind. FWIW, I have been getting them as well. Its been more like a stitch in the side cramp that wouldnt go away. I did call DR and they did do an US. Everything is fine and I got to see my little meatball again! My dr always says better be safe and calm than sorry!
I also try not to google things, if I have a legit question / concern I will go to the Mayo Clinic or AAP website and look directly there.
See how your feel today, doesn't hurt to call the Dr / MW. Sometimes moving around can help. I had some mild cramping on Friday and it made me nervous but by Saturday afteroon it was gone and now I actually feel great.
I definitely get cramps still. I remember being really worried about it around 8 weeks because they were persistent, so I called and they had me come in and give a urine sample because cramping can indicate a UTI. I didn't have one though. They said that cramping can happen on days you're overly active or days you don't drink enough water so those are two things to check/think about if you are cramping.
If your cramping persists though, it can't hurt to call just to let them know what's up and for peace of mind, if anything. HTH!
