Repost growth spurt? About to hit milestone?

Accidentally deleted my post on mobile ugh so I'm posting again

DS has always been an awesome sleeper. I'm very lucky. Last week we stopped swaddling him and he transitioned well. He then got two teeth and I think he's in a growth spurt or just ending one. Well now he suddenly discovered his feet and wants to play with them instead of sleep. That and I think his feet in the air are waking him up as soon as they fall. Any suggestions?

Eta I've read that they sometimes don't sleep well on the verge of a milestone too. Could that be it?

There is a fussy period centered around the "wonder week" sometime between 15-19 weeks and again between 23-26 weeks.  So it may very well be what's causing your DS to be more stressed lately.  Have you read/browsed The Wonder Weeks yet?  I wish I'd gotten my hands on it with DD and DS1!  So far, it's at the very least given me a heads up of when to expect DS2 to be fussy, and it's helped me to play better with him in accordance with what he might be learning at that time.  Just a thought Smile

  • We're going through all the same stuff. Minus the new teeth, but they are moving their way up. Looking at his increased amount per feeding, it's a growth spurt and a wonder well awaited in one fussy lovely bundle

  • so i think he is also teething again. He has started to chew on his tongue and drool again. I am certainly not ready for him to have more teeth yet! I know they are coming but I am going to miss his gummy smile!!!

Can you send me a link to the wonder week stuff. I'm going to be honest I've ignored it for the most part because he was never fussy and never bothered and now I'm wondering if that's it.  he is 24 weeks old now and that may be it!!!

    THANK YOU !

ETA- I just saw the link in the other post... reading it now! thanks!
