My IL's went to Aspen a few years ago and bought DD a really nice skisuit.  It's got the grow with me stuff in it so it should last a few years.  DD has worn it for two years (the first year it was huge on her) and she has another couple of years in it.  I haven't had to lengthen anything yet.  I just went to get it out for her because she wants to go play in the snow.  Snowpants are GONE!  We are going to Aspen this winter (a few times).  I really don't want to buy new snowpants but it looks like I am going to.  My ski pants are also missing.  I am afraid they may have been put into a garbage bag when we moved and accidentally thrown out.

Looks like I am going snow suit shopping today.

    Now, not to take advantage of your misery, Sammy, but where do you buy snow suits for the kids? Big A needs one now, since we woke up to winter.

    Depends on how much you want to spend.  If you want to get something that is good for skiing and a lot of time outside, we tend to go to places like Kiddie Kobbler or Sports Experts because they carry actual Ski suits.  I got DS's there it was about $100.  However if you don't need something that will be warm on the slopes but just good for playing outside, go to Carter's.   They have some nice suits there.

    Look on Craigslist!  I bought C a nice jacket and bibs for $20.  Where I live, there are always a ton on Craigslist, some brand new with tags.
