My husband and I have one car - a Scion XA - and it is very compact. With our first son we bought an Evenflo Symphony 65, which we LOVED, but we did have to spend the first 2 years of my son's life with our knees literally jammed against the passenger side dash. He's now front-facing, so we've been able to scoot it back a little bit for some more room, but with the prospect of two car seats and at times a dog all in the backseat (we'll move my son's to the other side, so the rear-facing will still be behind the passenger side), we're trying to avoid feeling like we're riding in a clown car. Any suggestions for a car seat that fits well rear-facing in a compact car?
We've been looking at the Combi Coccorro, First Years True Fit, and Graco My Size, but haven't been able to look at the Combi in person at all b/c none of the stores near us carry it.
