Hello! Newbie over here!

My name is Ericka and I'm 28 years old and pregnant with my first! My husband and I weren't necessarily trying, but my thought was, if it happens it happens after all we are getting older. So I never really kept track of my period and for about a full month I had been feeling nauseous. I seriously thought I as just sick from my stomach and thought about going to the doctor if it persisted, until my mom and sister asked if I was pregnant. I said no, but once I got home I looked at the calendar and realized I hadn't gotten my period in 2 months! Of course my bb's were starting to hurt too so I went to buy a home pregnancy test and sure enough they both came out positive! I was excited, but was nervous about my husband cause he didn't show much interest in having a baby soon. So I bought some baby socks and a "You're going to be a great daddy" card and to my surprise, he started crying! It was a moment I will never forget! So now, I'm 11 weeks today and next week I'll be going in for a sonogram and can't wait! So welcome other newbies and let the adventure begin!
