Ok, never done the whole opk thing... when should i start testing w them after my period. Today is cd 8. Spotted two days before. Had two days of flow. And still spotting.... idk when to start w the opks

I start around CD12, but have longer cycles. I would start by Cd10 if you aren't sure.

Check the package insert that came with the OPK because it is dependent on your cycle length (I think). The ones I bought told me to start the day after my period ended based on my average cycle.

I read it but i have pretty irregular cycles. Sometimes 20 days sometimes 26my sometimes 32... its stupid

Thanks guys for the general idea... between my irregularness anywhere between cd 5and and 15 i guess depending how long my cycle was from the last one.

This. It depends on your cycle - I start testing around CD10, and I continue to test until they are negative again.

I sleep with them under my pillow. I hear they're more accurate that way.

I tend to have shorter cycles (around 20 days the last two out of three cycles), last cycle was my first charting/using OPKs and I started testing OPK on CD6, had my first + on CD8.
