Anyone get an upholstered headboard/bed for LO?

I'm starting to look at bedroom furniture for DD because when #3 comes he/she will get the crib that DS is in now and then DS will move to the converted crib that DD is in.  Instead of buying another convertible crib we'll just get her a new set of furniture.  I found this and thought it was cute and that she might like picking out the color, although I'm sure she'd pick purple.

If your LO does have an upholstered bead/headboard I'm curious how you feel that the fabric might hold up now that you have it?  There was only one review on JCP's website.  TIA!

  • I probably wouldn't get it just because I can see 1) it clashing with future bedding/room choices and hating it.  2) a kid wiping boogers on it and it being a PITA to try to clean and never really looking the best again.

It's cute, but I do not see it being a peice for the next 15 years.

  • I don't, but that is super cute. Some of the other styles come in microsuede which may be easier to keep clean. If you go with the fabric, I would def. either scotch guard it or pay for the stain protection.
