Anyone have Playskool Alphie for their LO?? Reviews?

I was looking for something interactive and not necessarily a tablet for DS1--and something that maybe even DS2 could play with (19 mos old).  I sort of remember Alphie from when I was younger--although we didn't have one. 

Interested to find out if "kids of today" like this thing??

    I think DD1 got it for Christmas when she was 2.  She played with it a bit but not hugely.  She has several packs of the cards and I don't think she's even opened the ones she got last year for Christmas.  She's not a 'into electronics' kid though, her Leapster and DS barely get any play.  DD2 on the other hand, pulls Alphie out every other day.  She doesn't really understand what she's doing but pushing buttons that light up and slipping cards in and out are her sort of thing.

    DD got one last Christmas.  She's plays it off and on but is never too interested.  She likes playing on my Kindle Fire much more.
