Preemie eyesight

Hello all!

 

Just a quick re-intro, my baby boy was born at 34 weeks (5lbs 12 oz) after my water broke at 31w 5d. He was a feeder/grower and spent 2 1/2 weeks in the NICU.

I was wondering if anyone had some insight on preemie vision? When should he be focusing, looking at objects etc? His Dr never mentioned ROP so I don't think its an issue. 

What is the extent of his visual capacity now at 7 weeks/2 adjusted?

    You can use the guidelines for eyesight based on adjusted age.  This also goes for all developmental milestones (keeping in mind that all babies, preemie or FT develop differently).
