Success after IF

DH's post wash #s...

Hello all.

DH's post wash numbers were 5 mil with 50% motility... RE said that's the bare minimum he likes to see for an IUI. Bummer. Crying

Any success stories with numbers this low or lower?

2 years ago when we got pregnant with DD, his numbers were 39 mil with 65% motility... So... big difference.

I know it's not his fault, but I can't help but feel a little disappointed after all the freaking Follistim and monitering appointments this cycle. Not disappointed in him... just that we're going through this shi*ty IF.

At least I had 1 more follicle this time than when I got pregnant with DD (3 mature ones total).

  • Just remember, all it takes is one. We actually got pregnant on our 3rd IUI, where we had the lowest post wash numbers of all 3 tries. GL!!

  • I was super annoyed when my husbands SA was bad enough the first time we did IUI (14 mil post wash) and even worse when we went back to try for no. 2 (10 mil pre wash, so probably would have only been about 5 mil or so post wash) and we got pg on our own that month!  Imagine that ;)  Good Luck!
